Senior Software Engineer – AI Platforms & Distributed Systems
Sankhamul, Kathmandu
Description: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems, distributed architectures, and AI-powered platforms. You will work on high-impact systems involving automation pipelines, multi-tenant architectures, agent workflows, and cloud-native infrastructure. Responsibilities Architect and develop scalable backend services using TypeScript and Python Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures Build and maintain AI agent workflows and automation pipelines Develop cloud-native applications on AWS Collaborate across product, infrastructure, and AI engineering teams Improve observability, reliability, and system performance Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards Requirements Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Python Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) Experience building APIs, microservices, and async processing systems Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations and workflow orchestration Strong debugging, performance tuning, and system design skills Nice to Have Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform Knowledge of vector databases and RAG systems Experience leading engineering teams or projects Open-source contributions or technical writing
